I grew up in
Bucks county Pennsylvania. During my childhood my mother, who had an interest
in photography, photographed me. She sparked my interest in the art and I
started taking pictures on my own when I was thirteen years old. I continued
perusing my interests in photography during my formative years. After graduating
high school I attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where I developed
my own personal style and showed my work in several galleries. During this
time, I photographed my brother’s wedding where I instantly fell in
love with the spontaneity of the day, and how personal and emotional the images
were. That day influenced my decision to become a lifestyle photojournalist
and inspired me to capture this special day in a unique style. After graduating
from the art institute I moved to New York City to further my career and interests
in the field while I assisted various wedding photographers.
I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina where I work as a professional
black and white printer for Elizabeth Galecke Photography. Since being in
North Carolina, I have done commercial and fine art work for several businesses
in Raleigh. I have recently been commissioned to be the sole photographer
for a book written on Oberlin road, which is in a historical district in Raleigh
North Carolina.
